Shooter + vids by DerMonkey Shooter + vids by DerMonkey
lol the first thing my roommate asked me was "do you gonna paint the victim too? ;) :x"

i updated to snowleopard and discovered the coolest built-in feature of quicktime x: screen-record.
so initially, it was just a testing of the function. and i saw shooter the other day, so it had to be something with snipers lol
i'm currently downsizing and speeding up the video, that still takes some time. i hope it will be finished by tonight. i'll notify when i put it on :)
yes i know, stealth-snipers would probably use somekind of muzzle-surpression, but it looks cool, ok? i want to see that in ultra slowmotion just once...

//edit: so i managed to put the session on youtube:

It's helping me more with process than individual brushes technique but I did learn some about that from the video too. :)

from a shooter and artist, I must say that the blue gas burning is beautifully captured! And there are no suppressors for the Barret. It is louder to sit behind and shoot this, than to be at the muzzle of a 105 mm howitzer artillery piece! Love your art man...

it doesn't need a suppressor - if you get hit by the thing its blowing off appendages anyway haha

The muzzle break on the Berret IS the suppression. lol we don't make silencers on those puppies.

As far as your art... [Drool] Daaaaammmnnn... [/Drool]

ok, i didn't know that the muzzle break actually surpresses the muzzle- i searched wikiped before and it said that the muzzle break primarily lowers the recoil from the shot. the actual muzzle surpressor looks entirely differrent.
so i concluded that the break still has a flash...
but i never was in the the army or anything, so i'm a noob when it comes to weapons lol
but thanks! :)

lol Just imagine the flash if there was no muzzle break on that weapon. Thats what I mean.
